The ambitious trainer marina schwank continued her successes of the past this year. The highlight for the western rider was the german championship of the first western riding union (EWU) in kreuth, where she not only won the gold medal with the bavarian team, but also the title in junior western riding and bronze in senior western riding.
Her "good hand training of young horses paid off once again. The gold medal was won by marina schwank with heskeboshotmarlana (owned by karin bos-kelder), who is only four years old and already showed excellent performances in his first show season. Mate to win only (nicknamed "winnie, owned by conny pickel), who was also trained by marina schwank, ran in her first season as a "senior" (horses from six years) in the concert of the rough ones and placed on the bronze rank. Only just missing the podium was wincredible wisely ("faye") in the junior trail owned by franziska walther), who achieved a fourth place after a strong performance.
Afterwards, the party went on with "winnie" still on the Q17 (international german championship of the german quarter horse association) to aachen. The well-rehearsed duo was also successful here and won the maturity western riding of six year old horses.
Before that winnie and her owner conny pickel had placed several times at the sudfuturity in tierhaupten. With marina schwank in the saddle, she secured first or second places in four different disciplines against strong competition. For "faye and her owner, the intensive training paid off: in the end, she even won the all-round champion title, the victory in the overall ranking of the novice amateur performance class.
Gold for anna pickel at team european championships
A special experience for anna pickel this season was her participation in the "european team cup" in france. At the european quarter horse team championships, which take place every two years, anna qualified for the german youth team of the DQHA (german quarter horse association) with her performance in the run-up to the championships. The 19-year-old competed for germany in the trail and played a major role in winning the gold medal for the youth team by winning this discipline. Anna also placed in the top four in four other disciplines. Supported by anna and winnie on the trip to france by trainer marina schwank and her family. Already in summer the title of the bavarian champion (vereinigte westernreiter bavaria) of the youngsters in the discipline trail went to the two.
